Our Programs

Fitness Assessments

Our Polar Body Age system assessment provides an excellent baseline measure of your current fitness status, allowing you to fully gauge the effectiveness of your fitness plan and objectively measure the results. Measures include health risks based on family history and lifestyle, BMI, waist-to-hip ratio, body composition, strength, flexibility, height, weight, body circumferences, blood pressure, resting heart rate, and Body Age score. By reviewing the results of your Polar Body Age® System assessment you will know your current physical condition and by following the suggestions included with the results, you can reduce your health risks, improve your nutrition and ultimately improve your Body Age.

 

Basic Measurements
Establishing a simple baseline measure allows you to track the effectiveness of your fitness program. Basic measurements include the biometric measures of the Polar Fitness assessment such as measures of height, weight, body composition, and body circumferences.

 

Personal Training

Our certified personal trainers will design and implement a fitness routine customized to help you meet your fitness goals and provide the support, knowledge and accountability to help you get there.

 

Nutritional Planning
After assessing your current diet patterns including food choices, timing and portions, our nutrition planner will assist you in developing an eating plan that will help you to meet your personal goals. We work toward creating a customized plan that you can use and adapt throughout your lifetime.

 

Wellness Coaching

Develop your personal wellness plan with the help of our wellness coach. Establish three-month and weekly goals to keep you on track in making the changes you wish to make in your life. From losing weight to reducing your daily stress, wellness coaching is designed to help you examine the daily patterns and ideas that prevent you from living the life you want.

 

Workout Development

A certified personal trainer will design a 6-8 week customized workout plan to specifically meet your fitness goals. They will teach you the proper techniques and form to implement the routine independently using the equipment you have available.

 

Workplace Wellness
Life Fitness Management provides organizations with the tools to build results-oriented wellness programs to assist employees in making better lifestyle choices that can positively impact the organization through workplace satisfaction, productivity and financial performance. Our workplace wellness services include group fitness assessments, data collection and management, wellness plan consultations, educational programs and individual services.

LEAP

Weight Loss

Program

LEAP focuses on whole body wellness and addresses the many variables that ultimately impact overall health. Through a personalized program of wellness coaching, nutrition, and exercise, we’ll help you establish and meet your goals.

 

LEAP is conducted over 12 consecutive weeks. It begins with a POLAR Body Age assessment designed to give you a health and wellness baseline. The assessment measures weight, body fat, strength, flexibility, height and 16 circumferences. In addition you will complete a survey to determine your health risks in 5 areas: cancer, diabetes, heart, nutrition, prevention. Together these measures provide you with a picture of your current health and road map toward improving it.

Personal Training

Following your assessment you will begin personal training sessions either 2 or 3 times per week depending on the program you select. Your trainer will have you complete a series of strength baseline tests to use in creating a safe and effective exercise routine. In your first meeting your trainer will conduct a health and lifestyle interview to assess your history,  preferences, strengths and weaknesses which are all factored into your training program design.

 

Wellness Coaching

 You will also be meeting weekly with a certified wellness coach who will assist you in establishing a vision for your well-being and a concrete set of goals. Weekly meetings include a review of your goals, weigh-ins and strategies for making the necessary changes for lifelong success.

 

Nutrition Planning

 Bi-monthly nutrition sessions are held with the LFM nutrition counselor. Sessions include a review of current eating patterns, an orientation to maintaining a food diary, and a weekly review of food intake, timing and nutritional balance.

Massage Services

Massage can be beneficial to everyone, whether it be for discomfort, tension or overall maintenance and wellness. Each massage is designed to cater to the individual to provide maximum benefits and to improve overall mind-body awareness.

Swedish Massage:

A relaxing and gentle technique that incorporates treatments that help reduce stress and detoxify the body through increased circulation of blood and lymph. Great massage for anyone receiving a massage for the first time.

Deep Tissue Massage:

Deep Tissue reaches the deeper layers of muscle and fascia. It is a more focused massage technique and can be used to facilitate relief from chronic muscle pain or tension.

A type of massage therapy that is geared towards athletes. It focuses on increasing motion and flexibility, relieving muscle soreness and promoting a quick recovery from muscle overuse.
